Founded in 2009 by attorney Geoff Hoatson, the Family First Firm has helped hundreds of Central Florida families with their legal needs through all stages of life.
We are a law firm committed to protecting and supporting you through wills and trusts, advanced directives, Medicaid qualification, Veteran’s benefits, probate, and more. We pride ourselves on our non-traditional approach that focuses on your experience – you’ll never feel like “just another client” here. You are the purpose of our work, and we’re here to be your lifelong partner. At the Family First Firm, it’s our privilege to protect you, your family, and your future.
Geoff is the founder and CEO of the Family First Firm. Born in Oregon, his family relocated to Orlando when he was a small child, so he considers himself a proud semi-native of Central Florida. He attended the University of Central Florida (go Knights!) where he graduated with honors and a degree in business administration. After college, he decided to attend Emory University for law school. Upon graduating from Emory, he returned to Orlando to marry his fiancee, start a family, and begin practicing law.
In 2009, Geoff decided to start his own practice, and he has dedicated the last decade to serving seniors and families throughout Central Florida. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and their two little girls. He loves to travel and enjoy the outdoors with his family and frequently visits the Pacific Northwest. When he's not preoccupied with the firm or the family, you can usually find him reading a good book, trading timepieces, or playing the piano.
