Geoff is the founder and CEO of the Family First Firm. Born in Oregon, his family relocated to Orlando when he was a small child, so he considers himself a proud semi-native of Central Florida. He attended the University of Central Florida (go Knights!) where he graduated with honors and a degree in business administration. After college, he decided to attend Emory University for law school. Upon graduating from Emory, he returned to Orlando to marry his fiancee, start a family, and begin practicing law.

In 2009, Geoff decided to start his own practice, and he has dedicated the last decade to serving seniors and families throughout Central Florida. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and their two little girls. He loves to travel and enjoy the outdoors with his family and frequently visits the Pacific Northwest. When he's not preoccupied with the firm or the family, you can usually find him reading a good book, trading timepieces, or playing the piano.

Beth Roland Lead Guardianship & Probate Counsel

Attorney Beth Roland practices in probate, trust administration, guardianship, estate planning, and Medicaid. Beth earned her Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Sweet Briar College. She is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the Virginia Bar Association, the Florida State Guardianship Association, the Seminole County Bar Association, the Lake County Bar Association, and the Seminole Health and Human Services Network.

Beth has served as a court-appointed Court Monitor in guardianship proceedings and has experience serving as a Qualified Guardian Ad Litem and volunteering for the Court Appointed Special Advocate Program (CASA). She also volunteers her time writing an appellate brief for the Guardian Ad Litem Program’s Defending Best Interest Project. Beth has authored articles and publications on estate planning, probate, and guardianship. She has also served as a speaker on various elder law topics for the National Business Institute Continuing Legal Education Program and the Florida State Guardianship Association. Beth is a certified volunteer for the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council. She and her family also volunteer their time at multiple animal rescue organizations.

Joannie Rodriguez Lead Medicaid Counsel

Joannie is a New York native who earned her Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2013. She recently relocated to the Orlando area from South Florida to continue her career as an Elder Law attorney with a concentration in wills, trusts, estates, and long-term care asset protection planning. Joannie is passionate about her career and helping others.

In her spare time, you can find her with her family, gallivanting through Disney World, trying new restaurants, or loving on her fourteen-year-old chihuahua, Papi.

Oscar Salgado Associate Attorney

Oscar was born and primarily raised in Aurora, Illinois, before moving to Georgia with his family. He attended Antillean Adventist University in Puerto Rico and earned a bachelor’s degree in history. Oscar then moved to Central Florida and earned his Juris Doctor from Florida A&M University College of Law, graduating with honors in 2020. He recently joined the firm and now practices in the areas of guardianship and probate.

In his free time, you can find him at home with his beautiful wife and daughter, exploring Central Florida, or biking. Oscar also enjoys watching sports and is an avid fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

A native of California, she moved to Florida when she was just seven. She graduated from Lake Brantley High School and received her associate’s degree at City College for Medical Office Administration. Before joining Family First Firm, she gained over five years of experience with Medicaid and elder law.

Married with three amazing kids, she loves going to the beach, spending time with her family, and cheering on her kids at their sporting events.

Loumarie Cobb Director of Finance & Human Resources

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Loumarie relocated to Central Florida with her husband and children in 2017. Before joining Family First Firm, she spent ten years as an administrator for one of the most successful corporate law firms in Puerto Rico, specializing in general corporate, healthcare, labor and employment, and other areas of practice. She has a track record for developing and implementing initiatives to successfully align corporate goals and values preserving employee retention and engagement at all levels.

She is an active member of the Association of Legal Administrators since 2016, the Society of Human Resources since 2009, and a past member of the nomination committee for Man and Women of the year for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, South Florida Chapter. A foodie at heart, Loumarie loves to discover new recipes and coordinate gatherings with her family to try out new and exciting dishes.

Michelle Astor Business Development Manager

Michelle is originally from Boston, Massachusetts, but moved to Central Florida in 1992, where she has resided since. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida, where she majored in interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in health services administration and social sciences. Michelle is always helping someone! In particular, she loves helping the elderly community. She provides families with professional guidance and heartfelt support. Michelle is passionate about serving others and has dedicated her career to doing just that.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her hubby, her beautiful daughters, and her whipador and golden retriever: Rocco and Rusty.

Jenna is originally from Ohio where she received two bachelor’s degrees from Cleveland State University. She moved to Central Florida to attend UCF for her master’s degree in mass communication, which she completed in 2018. Her background varies from the movie industry and ESPN to working for the Office of Emergency Management in Seminole County.

In her free time, Jenna enjoys being near the pool or ocean, exploring new food places, and just enjoying the moment. Even though Ohio is where she’s from, she likes to call Florida her new home.

After graduating high school in Morgantown, Kentucky, Patti served three years of active duty army. She later put her roots down in Cincinnati, Ohio, to raise her son and daughter, both of which are also veterans. Patti is also a proud grandmother of two grandchildren. Most of Patti's professional life has been spent educating and assisting seniors and their loved ones. She is grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives.

In her spare time, she enjoys boating, riding her trike, and spending time with her husband, friends, and family.

After being born and raised in New York, Sherri relocated to Central Florida in 2008 with her husband, children, and incredible parents. She is committed to patient advocacy and has ten years of experience working in the healthcare field. Her passion in life is helping others in any way possible.

When she has free time, you can find her with her family, in the kitchen cooking, or out enjoying nature.

Marvelis Reyes Senior Medicaid Specialist

While Marvelis was born in New York, she considers herself a Florida native. Her passion was found at a young age, having been in the healthcare industry since she was 16. Marvelis brings six years of Medicaid experience to the firm. She is a mother to a son who loves all sports but especially the New York Mets and Knicks.

In her spare time, besides spending time with her son and family (she is the oldest of four), she loves dancing, fitness, reading, and motivating women through her social media platforms to be the best version of themselves. She enjoys laughing and always trying to bring a smile to her clients' faces.

Luz was born and raised in New York, Puerto Rican through her parents, but she considers herself an American. She has worked for over 30 years assisting children, families, and currently the elderly. She has worked for the Welfare system in New York, the Protective agency, and in the Medical field assisting those without health insurance. She enjoys helping others and making their lives a little easier while granting them peace of mind.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, her three children, and grandkids, who are her world.

Francheska is a true Central Florida native. She received her associate’s degree from Seminole State College, and with a background in the medical field, Francheska has always had a passion for helping others.

She is married with four wonderful children, and in her free time, she likes to stay active by exploring the outdoors and being by the beach as much as possible.

Corinna was born in Guyana, South America. She moved to the United States at the age of six and has lived in Central Florida ever since. She recently graduated from Valencia College and is currently attending UCF to pursue her bachelor’s degree in legal studies. Corinna plans on attending FAMU Law School after UCF. She has over ten years of experience in the legal field and enjoys helping others, especially our elderly community.

In her spare time, Corinna enjoys spending time with her fiancé and two children, Jaliyah and Marley.

Kaizzle was born in Bohol, Philippines, and raised in Sarasota, Florida. She received her bachelor’s degree in marketing and business administration from the University of Central Florida and an advanced technical certificate in paralegal/legal assisting from the State College of Florida. She hopes to further her legal career by becoming a lawyer in the future. In her spare time, you can find her at the arcade, working on her Toyota 86, or hanging out at home with Fisher, her adopted Rhodesian ridgeback.

Sarah is a proud native from Altamonte Springs. She earned her bachelor's in psychology from Rollins College Hamilton Holt School and has over five years of administrative support experience, primarily in the legal sector.

Outside of the office, Sarah is an avid traveler, visiting family in Colombia, living in Portugal for two months, and visiting her favorite country, Iceland. When she's not traveling, you might find her kayaking in the springs or sweating in a hot yoga class.

Born and raised in Winter Springs, Emily is a true Central Florida native! She recently received her bachelor's degree from UCF in communications. Emily is an experienced assistant with a history working in customer service, law, and administrative roles.

When she is not working, you can find her traveling the World Showcase at Epcot or catching a cult classic at the Enzian.

Marian was born and raised in Central Florida and has been part of the Family First Firm team since 2016. She loves working closely with our clients to provide the best services for them and their loved ones.

Outside of work, Marian enjoys spending time with her family, being outside, and playing with her zoo of pets: Sullivan the Black Lab, Nigel the cockatiel, Jack the parakeet, Joanna the chameleon, and Cricket her pet rat.

Lindsay Sackett Intake Coordinator

Born in Vermont, Lindsay moved to Florida in 1989 with her parents and two sisters. She is currently attending Seminole State College to complete her business management degree. Before joining the Family First Firm, Lindsay spent 12 years in corporate law firms in the downtown Orlando area. She enjoys customer service, event planning, and seems to have found her niche.

Lindsay enjoys spending as much time as possible with her family and friends. Much of her spare time is spent supporting her three children in the sports they participate in: softball, baseball, volleyball, weightlifting, and basketball. You name it; they play it – and she is their number one fan. She also enjoys being active in the community by volunteering at the elementary and high schools, local food pantry, and city events.
